Who we are

In this policy, “we” and “us” means Ignite Heating North West LTD. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.
How to contact us
Email contact@igniteheating.co.uk or call 0161 399 0749. Write to us at Ignite Heating North West LTD, Worsley, Manchester, M28 3EX.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote or send us a message, we collect what you type into the form. That can include your name, phone number, email address, postcode or address, and details about your home, such as how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has.
If you phone, email or message us on WhatsApp, we keep what you send us so we can reply and look after your job.
When you use the website, we and our partners may collect information about your visit, such as the pages you look at, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are. Apart from the cookies the site needs to work, this only happens if you say yes on the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, give you a price and book in your job, because you asked us to.
- To carry out the work, register your boiler warranty and keep the records the law asks us to keep.
- To see how the website is used and to show our adverts to people who might need us. We only do this if you say yes on the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
- To tell Meta that an enquiry came in, so we can see which of our adverts bring enquiries. See “Telling Meta that an enquiry came in” below.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it where we need to:
- Boiler manufacturers, when we register your warranty for you.
- Gas Safe Register, when the law asks us to notify them of a new boiler.
- Our finance partner, Phoenix Financial Consultants Limited, only if you ask about paying monthly, so they can help with your application. They will tell you how they use your information.
- The companies that run our website, email and phone systems, who handle it for us and on our instructions.
- Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through cookies, only if you say yes to them on the cookie banner.
- Meta, when you send us a quote request, as explained below.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that it needs to work. With your agreement, it also uses cookies from Google, to count visits and measure our adverts, and from Meta, through the Meta pixel, to measure and show our adverts. Nothing from Google or Meta runs until you say yes. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage consent” button on the website.
Telling Meta that an enquiry came in
When you send us a quote request through a form on this website, our website tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that an enquiry was made, so we can see which of our adverts bring enquiries. This happens even if you said no to cookies, because it does not use cookies on your device. We send your email address, phone number, name and postcode in a scrambled (hashed) form, with the page and the time, and Meta uses them only to match the enquiry to an advert. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing whether our advertising works. You can object at any time by emailing contact@igniteheating.co.uk.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above. If we do work for you, we keep your records for as long as your warranty, the law and our tax rules need us to.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, stop using it or send it to someone else. If you said yes to cookies, you can take that back at any time. To do any of these, email contact@igniteheating.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
